Discovering the danger of novelty
The first time I went abroad - I was younger and I was on a journey of finding ‘me’. I moved to find a life, to discover who I was and to find a new home (in England). I was all about consuming everything - soaking it all up, wide-eyed and eager. No filter 😊
This time, I was more conscious. I went to Colorado on a mission - focussed and intentional. I wanted to connect. To make it feel like a business home, not just a new adventure. To make it work for me - to create something that was lasting and valued, and precious. So I slowed down. I listened more.
